CMS Hasche Sigle advises AERIUM on the purchase of Siemens property
Erlangen, 01.07.2008CMS Hasche Sigle advised the British financial services company AERIUM Finance LLP on the acquisition of a real estate complex in Erlangen. The property was sold by Siemens Real Estate for a purchase price of approx. EUR 75 million.
The real estate complex has a total net area of 46,700 square metres with one new office building and two which have recently been renovated, as well as a car park with 500 parking spaces. The entire complex is leased for 15 years to a joint venture of the nuclear technology company Areva NP and Siemens AG. The sale is part of Siemens' strategy to reduce the property ownership ratio at selected locations.
In 2007 a CMS Hasche Sigle team led by Dr Volker Zerr advised Aerium Finance LLP on the acquisition of a portfolio comprising eight shopping centres from the Kaufland group.
