A new leader for the CMS Hotel & Leisure Group: Dr Hermann Stapenhorst,
Partner at CMS Hasche Sigle, shall take over the chair of the CMS-Sector Group that specialises in
the hotel and tourism industry.
The CMS Hotel & Leisure Group bundles the cross-border and
cross-departmental expertise of all member firms of the European-wide CMS organisation. The group
regularly and comprehensively advises seven of the ten largest hotel groups in Europe. CMS leads
the rankings of “mergermarket�? information service for legal advisers in the hotel and tourism
sector (no. 1 in number of clients / no. 2 in transaction volume).
Dr Stapenhorst will take over the helm at the International Hotel Investment
Forum (IHIF, March 9-11 2009, in Berlin). He succeeds Charles Romney, Partner at CMS Cameron
McKenna LLP, who led the CMS Hotel & Leisure Group for eight years.
