Focus is collective employment law, in particular, advice in preparation and implementation phase including negotiations with the competent employee representative bodies and trade unions on restructurings, works agreements (including employee participation) and company affiliations and in-house collective bargaining agreements. Dr Uhl has particular experience in advising foreign, especially US clients on all typical issues, such as compliance, reorganisation matrixes, data flow agreements etc.

Studied law at the Universities of Constance and Tübingen. 1988: personnel department Karstadt, Essen. From 1989 until 1992 judge at Rottweil Regional Court whilst completing doctorate. Started practising as a lawyer with Sigle Loose Schmidt-Diemitz in 1992. Employment law specialist since 1994. Secondment from Sigle Loose Schmidt-Diemitz to Rodyk & Davidson (World Law Group Member) in Singapore from 1995/96. Partner since 1997.
