Kathrin Mehler focuses on legal advice to national and international M&A transactions, the transformation in European stock corporations (SE) as well as the avoidance of, and legal assistance in, corporate law disputes (disputes between shareholders, liability of corporate bodies or shareholders).

Kathrin Mehler studied law with additional studies in legal English and in economics (qualification as Business Lawyer) at the University of Bayreuth. After her first state law exam in 2005, she worked as a research assistant at a chair for economic criminal law (Prof. DrNikolaus Bosch) and gained her doctorate on a capital market law topic in 2009. She spent her practical legal training from 2009 through 2010 in Duesseldorf and Singapore. In 2011, MsMehler was admitted to the German bar and joined CMS Hasche Sigle.
