Tobias' main areas of expertise are advising on M&A and private equity transactions, corporate restructuring and general corporate law issues.

Tobias studied law at the universities of Mainz (Germany) and Geneva (Switzerland) from 1999 to 2004. After his first state examination, he did his legal traineeship in Frankfurt and Mainz where he worked, amongst others, for an international law firm and a law firm specializing in insolvency law. Tobias passed his second state examination in 2006 and was admitted to the bar. Subsequently, he did his doctorate and was a law students' teacher. Since 2009, Tobias is working in the Frankfurt office of CMS Hasche Sigle.
