Focus

Cartel Civil action, especially compensation for damages regarding Cartel Law, German and European merger control and monetary fine proceedings, competition law advice of vertical and horizontal cooperation, integrated competition, trademark and patent law structure of distribution and allocation systems, as well as licence, know-how and R&D agreements. Specialist branches of industry: pharmaceuticals, foods, medical products, fuel and energy, sports and media.

Resume

Born in 1969 in Hamburg. After a year's exchange in USA Abitur (A Levels) in Hamburg in 1990. Studies in Constance. After first state exam (1995) research assistant in the Special Research Area 178, Part Area A9 "Economic and legal analysis of international service transactions" of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft at the University of Constance. 1997 doctorate on a topic of legal comparison in European corporate law and magister juris in European and Comparative Law at Exeter College, University of Oxford. Return to Hamburg for legal traineeship. With CMS Hasche Sigle since 1999. Since 2006 lecturer for cartel law at Bucerius Law School.
