Born 1978 in Dortmund, Dr. Stefan Ueding studied law and US law at University of Münster and Università Roma Tre from 1998 to 2003. After his first state examination 2003 he was scientific assistant at the Institute for Banking Law at the University of Cologne. He did a doctorate 2008 at the University of Cologne on the topic of "Prospectus requirements and prospectus liability on the grey capital market under German and Italian law". Dr. Ueding passed his legal traineeship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Hamm from 2007 to 2009 in the course of which he worked - amongst others – for the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), an international law firm and the Deutsche Börse AG. After his second state examination in 2009 Dr. Ueding was admitted to the German bar in January 2010 and is since then working in the Frankfurt office of CMS Hasche Sigle.
