Born in 1968 in Münster/Westphalia. Grew up in Bavaria. One year spent in USA as part of the Congress – Bundestag Youth Exchange Program. Reserve officer in the German Army. Studied law in Tübingen and Göttingen from 1990 to 1994. Legal traineeship at Dresden Higher Regional Court from 1995 to 1997, various seats incl. the University for Public Administration in Speyer, legal department of a major German bank. Since 1997 lawyer in Dresden and since 2006 at CMS Hasche Sigle, Dresden office.
