After finishing his apprenticeship as a bank clerk at Bayerische Landesbank in Munich Matthias Heilmeier studied law at the University of Würzburg from 2000 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008 Mr. Heilmeier did his practical legal training in Passau where he also worked at the University as a research assistant. While writing his doctoral thesis he worked for an American law firm in Frankfurt as lawyer and research assistant from 2008 to 2009. Since October 2010 he has been working as a lawyer for CMS Hasche Sigle.
