Born in 1974 in Regensburg (Germany). Studied law in 1994 at the Universities of Passau (Germany) and Lausanne (Switzerland). Foreign legal language training in English, French and Spanish. Work experience, inter alia, in the U.S. and Chile. Scholarship from the German Merit Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes). First legal exam in 2000. 2000-2002 traineeship at the High Court (Oberlandesgericht) of Munich with an assignment to an international law firm in London (UK). Second legal exam in 2002. 2000-2002 research assistant, 2002-2004 assistant professor at the University of Passau. Doctorate in civil law at the University of Passau (2004). Lecturer for civil law with the German Academic Exchange Service at the State University of Krasnoyarsk (RUS) (February 2004). Joined the law firm CMS Hasche Sigle in June 2004. October 2009 - June 2010 seconded to Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, Seoul (Koreas) as Foreign Legal Consultant.Since 2009 lecturer for business law at Munich Business School.
