Markus Häuser is a partner in the firm's Technology Group. He regularly advises major international and German companies of the Information Technology, High-Tech, Automotive and E-Media industry. Markus Häuser has been in charge of several international technology transactions and complex IT outsourcing deals. He is a member of the German Association of Law and Information Technology (DGRI), the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) and of the German Lawyers Association (DAV). In 2004 he worked as a foreign associate for the technology team of CMS Cameron McKenna in London.
"The Legal 500" ranks Markus Häuser as an Technology lawyer who is"competent and pragmatic". "Juve" ranks him as " often recomended Lawyer" and describes him as "very experienced and reliable".
Markus Häuser received his law degree from the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University in Munich in 1998. Before joining CMS in 2001 he worked as a scientific researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign and International Intellectual Property Law in Munich and held a scholarhip from the MPI. He received his doctor's degree in 2001. He is a regular speaker and published several legal articles on information-technology, e-commerce, e-media and copyright law.
