Born in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt in 1961. Studied law in Tübingen. First state exam (Erstes Juristisches Staatsexamen) in 1986. After legal traineeship in Ulm and three months in the United Kingdom, started practising as a lawyer with Lichtenstein Körner & Partners, Stuttgart, in 1990. Joined Sigle Loose Schmidt-Diemitz in 1993. Partner since 1999. Member of the Executive Committee of the bar association in Stuttgart since 2002; member of the Steering Committee of the bar association in Stuttgart since 2004.
