Jens Wagner is a partner in our intellectual property and Life Sciences team. Until early 2011 he was head of the CMS Life Sciences Sector Group. His practice covers contentious and non-contentious issues, and he also advises clients in regulatory and legal compliance matters. Jens has substantial experience in patent, trademark, unfair competition and medicinal product/medical device advertising litigation and in license, distribution, co-marketing, co-promotion and manufacturing agreements. His clients include Boehringer Ingelheim, DuPont, GE Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly and MSD Sharp & Dohme.

Born in Wilhelmshaven in 1961. Bank traineeship. Law studies in Hanover and Hamburg. Doctorate in 1995. Voluntary work experience with Thacher, Albrecht & Ratcliffe in San Francisco (1993/1994) and secondment with CMS Cameron McKenna (2000/2001). Admission to the bar in 1994, commencing legal practice with Fischötter, Micheli & Partner, Hamburg. Partner since 1998.
