As a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law, Dr. Schindler advises clients on all aspects of corporate law, including stock corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships (corporate governance, law of the corporate group, the law governing the transformation of companies, corporate succession), national and international transactions (company acquisitions/M&A) and represents clients/conducts litigation in arbitration procedures and before German national courts in the field of post-M&A and corporate law (corporate litigation). Dr. Schindler's clients are undertakings from all economic sectors and financial investors; he is a member of the German-French group at CMS and advises a number of well-known undertakings in the aforementioned sectors with regard to German-French legal dealings.

Born in Cologne in 1966. Study of law at the universities of Cologne and Geneva from 1986 to 1992. Assistant at the Institute for Employment and Commercial Law (Institut für Arbeits- und Wirtschaftsrecht) at the University of Cologne (Prof. Dr Herbert Wiedemann) from 1992 to 1994. Doctorate on the topic of the law governing public limited companies and capital markets in Germany and France in 1998. Admission to the bar as lawyer in Cologne and joined the firm in 1997. Partner since 2000. Dr. Schindler is a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law.
