Born in 1976 in Zwickau. Studied Law, Sociology and Psychology at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and University College Galway, Ireland. After the First State Exam (Erstes Juristisches Staatsexamen) 2000 – 2004 academic assistant to Prof. Dr. Lecheler, Department of EU Law and Public Law of the Freie Universität Berlin. 2002 Doctorate on a topic of European Law. After the Traineeship in the District of the Higher Regional Court of Berlin and the Second State Exam (Zweites Juristisches Staatsexamen) 2004, Lawyer and Representative of the Istanbul branch office of a German Law firm based in Stuttgart (2005 – 2010), during the stay in Istanbul: mid term expert in the framework of a EU-Twinning Project relating to Foreign Direct Investment in Turkey; guest lecturer at Marmara-University Istanbul. Joined CMS in January 2010.
