Eckart Gottschalk is since 2006 an Associate with CMS Hasche Sigle in Hamburg and is a member of the Corporate / M&A practice group. Before he started practicing, he served as a Joseph Story Research Fellow at Harvard Law School and as a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg.He holds both of the German State Examinations, a Master of Laws from the University of California at Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Göttingen. Certified lawyer for commercial and corporate law.
