Focus

Ms Ruckteschler advises and represents German andinternational clients in proceedings before German courts and in national and international arbitration proceedings, particularly in disputes arising from M&A transactions, among shareholders, D&O liability cases and disputes associated with international industrial plant construction projects. She also acts as an arbitrator in national and international arbitral tribunals.

Ms Ruckteschler is head of CMS Hasche Sigle's Dispute Resolution Practise.

Resume

Born in Hamburg 1955. 1974/75: Studied French at the University of Grenoble, France. Then studied law in Freiburg. Scholarship from Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes. Doctorate in comparative law (German, English and US law on questions of liability for negligence),research fellow at Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. 1981: worked for law firm, Perkins Coie in Seattle, Washington, USA. Started practising as a lawyer in Germany in 1983, since 1991 with CMS Hasche Sigle in Stuttgart.
