Born in Berlin in 1968. Studied law in Berlin. Started practising as a lawyer in 1996 at Sigle Loose Schmidt-Diemitz in Stuttgart. Partner since 2001. 2000: worked at the US law firm Gardner, Carton & Douglas in Chicago as a foreign associate.

Numerous papers on distribution law, for example May 2000 in Chicago (Chicago Bar Association) on the subject "Distribution Law in Europe", August 2001 in Cambridge (GB) on the subject "Drafting Agency and Distribution Agreements" and August 2002 at the annual meeting of the American Bar Association in Washington D.C. on the subject "International Practitioners Workshop Series - A lawyer's guide to sales agency and distribution agreements in Europe". Also many hands-on seminars on distribution law, drafting contracts, typical problems in supply agreements and on the reform of the law of obligations, incl. at several chambers of industry and commerce in the Stuttgart area; has regularly lectured since 2001 on "Contract and Distribution Law" for the Executive MBA course of the Steinbeis-Hochschule in Berlin.
