Dirk Baukholt studied law at University of Konstanz where he finished his studies by passing the first state examination in 2004. Following a five-months-internship at an international law firm, he successfully completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.)-programme at Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand). Subsequent to his study abroad, Mr. Baukholt passed his legal traineeship in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt/Main in the course of which he worked – amongst others - for two international law firms. In 2008, he completed his second state examination and was admitted to the German bar. As of December 2008, he is working as a lawyer in the Frankfurt branch of CMS Hasche Sigle.
