Dr Christopher Jordan advises German and foreign companies on all areas of individual and collective employment law, particularly questions of restructuring, outsourcing and personnel adjustment measures. His advice encompasses particularly works constitution law and collective bargaining issues and includes negotiations with works councils and unions (on in-house collective bargaing agreements). Furthermore he advises clients on implementation of codes of conduct, on issues associated with corporate social responsibility (CSR), in terms of employee data protection and on performance under labor and employment law.
Dr. Jordan regularly conducts workshops and seminars for commercial providers, professional organisations and clients (in-house) on different labor and employment law topics (in German and English). For details see below.
Dr. Jordan is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), where his role is that of newsletter editor (officer) of the Employment and Industrial Relations Law Committee. Furthermore, he is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) and of the international association of labor an employment law attorneys “Worklaw Network”:
