Born in 1972 in Regensburg. After A levels at humanist grammar school in 1991 worked as an au pair in Lausanne, Switzerland. Went on to study law in Regensburg and Lyons, France. After the first state exam in 1997 postgraduate study at Oxford University, Great Britian ("Masters in European und Comparative Law"). From 1998 to 2000 traineeship in the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg district, finally doctorate with Prof. Dr Reinhard Richardi in Regensburg. With CMS Hasche Sigle since 2003.
