Andreas Otto is a partner and Head of the real estate and construction practice group as well as coordinator of the German-Spanish group within CMS Alliance. His main areas of practice are the following:
Continuous legal advice on large-scale construction projects, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution
Advice to real estate owners, investors and project developers, especially Spain-based companies, on real estate transactions and all questions of commercial real estate law
Full legal services for Spanish investors as well as of Spanish companies operating in Germany
In addition to his practice as a lawyer, Andreas Otto also acts as notary in the area of real estate and corporate law.
He is a member of the Construction Law Working Group of the German Lawyers Association, the German Society for Construction Law, the Centre for German and International Civil and Structural Engineering Law, the Institut für Deutsches und Internationales Baurecht e.V. at Humboldt University in Berlin, the German Court Conference on Construction Law, the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain, the official Spanish Chamber of Commerce for Germany and the German/Spanish Lawyers Association.

Born in Northeim in 1966. Studied law in Bonn. 1991 first state law exam. 1993 doctorate on a topic relating to the unification treaty. Research assistant at the Institute for Civil and Civil Procedural Law, University of Bonn. Six months with German Chamber of Commerce in Madrid. After second state exam in 1995 joined firm. Partner since 2000, notary public since 2007. Since 2009 head of the real estate and construction practice group. Also examiner for Berlin judicial examining board.
