With 500 lawyers, CMS Hasche Sigle is Germany’s biggest partnership of lawyers and tax consultants. The firm has nine offices in Germany and four international offices, is a member of CMS – an alliance of leading independent law firms – and therefore part of a network of over 2,000 lawyers and tax consultants at 47 locations in Europe and beyond. The firm is a leader in all areas of commercial law and fills the top spots in all relevant rankings.

The firm has made a conscious decision to advise clients on all aspects of commercial law. We benefit from outstanding expertise in transactions, financing, corporate law and many specialist areas. Unlike British and US firms, we do not focus solely on Corporate and Finance. Having said that, M&A is nonetheless an important part of what we do. CMS Hasche Sigle is a leader in the midcap M&A segment (transaction volumes up to EUR 500 million), which is Germany’s most important M&A segment by a significant margin.
