Cologne – As of 1 January 2012, Kay Uwe Erdmann (39) has been strengthening the CMS Hasche Sigle insurance law and reinsurance law team as of counsel. Born in Remscheid and a qualified lawyer, he served in various management roles at GLOBALE Rückversicherungs-AG before being appointed to the company's management board in December 2010. Kay Uwe Erdmann is now responsible for Finance and Accounting, Capital Investment, Personnel, Legal, Audit and Risk Controlling at the Cologne-based insurer.
Dr Winfried Schnepp, head of the Insurance team in Cologne, which now numbers nine lawyers: "Mr Erdmann brings outstanding expertise to our advisory services. He will provide support particularly at the intersection between reinsurance law / regulation and in arbitration proceedings.
