CMS Hasche Sigle advises MGPA on acquisition of 140 properties from retailer ALDI-Süd
Frankfurt/Main – Private equity advisory firm MGPA has acquired a real estate portfolio comprising some 140 properties from ALDI-Süd. The stores, some of which will be leased back to ALDI-Süd, are located primarily in the south and west of Germany. Landbank sites and a distribution centre also form part of the deal. MGPA intends to add the portfolio to the MGPA Europe Fund III. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
A team led by Heinrich Schirmer advised MGPA on all aspects of the transaction.
MGPA is a global private equity advisory firm focusing on real estate investment in Europe and Asia. According to the company's own figures, it currently has real estate assets worth more than USD 10 billion under management, spread across development and redevelopment projects, project partnerships and stakes in property companies.
